Annual Events

Our Bürgenstock conference is designed to offer participants enhanced insight into the world of hedge funds. While the attached programme offers more details, the overall goal is to provide understanding of hedge funds as an asset class. This includes providing deep insight into strategies employed, risk management, structuring of hedge fund products, as well as examining current issues facing hedge funds.

The objectives will be met through a structured programme in which Harcourt investment staff, as well as experienced hedge fund managers and intermediaries, are presenting. The sessions are held in a decidedly non-marketing fashion and the number of participants is limited. Overall, this serves to maximise the time involvement by participants which is one of the reasons why the conference has become a staple within senior institutional investment circles.

While the overall goal of the conference clearly is the provisioning of content, we also aim to provide participants with opportunities to discuss issues within a more relaxed atmosphere such as a boat trip and the various planned lunches / dinners.

The next issue of swissHEDGE will provide a detailed overview and analysis of the universe of multi-strategy funds. As usual, Harcourt's analysis will be supplmented by contributions from a host of leading hedge funds and market participants.
